Job Description:
- Under broad supervision, this position performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions/processes or a few specialized or essential clerical functions in support of the legal services unit or office and related personnel. This position may enter data and/or process documents and records. The work includes operating standard office equipment. This position performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED AND Four years of progressively complex office or administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates, who in addition to meeting the qualifications listed above, possess the following:
Experience working in a role that provides administrative support for legal services and/or programs.
Knowledge and recent application of techniques used in the collection, review, and presentation of data.
Experience with using software programs such as PeopleSoft, TeamWorks Financials, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), and Laserfiche.
Moderate to general clerical experience in a healthcare setting performing a wide range of administrative and clerical support functions.
Computer skills including word processing, navigating databases, and internet competency.
Ability to operate general office machines, including copiers, fax machines, and printers.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate easily with others in a concise and professional manner.
