Job Description

The Executive Administrative Assistant provides a variety of advanced administrative support to the Executive Director/ CIO.  Assists in the operation, management, and planning of the authority as a whole. Works on complex administrative projects that require advanced knowledge of the operations of the authority.  Represents the Executive Director in internal and external settings.

  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and discretion.

  • Organization and Time Management: Proficiency in managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements efficiently.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective correspondence and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology to assist in communicating technical matters between the CIO and other team members.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to anticipate and address issues proactively, making quick and effective decisions when necessary.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in all administrative tasks, including documentation, reporting, and data entry.

  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Resourcefulness: Capacity to independently research, gather information, and provide support on various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:  

  • Completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent AND three (3) years of experience in performing advanced administrative work for C-Suite including serving as a liaison between an individual or operation and customers, composing a variety of documents, developing presentations, calendar management, scheduling, and/or contract with management.  Computer skills are required including using MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
