Job Description

Financial Planning & Analysis Officer

Job Description:

Develop and prepare financial data and reports on funding sources, Including state funds, general allocations, sales and services, endowments, and other sources. Perform advanced financial analysis (such as trend analysis, comparative analysis, funds now analysis, etc.) to evaluate different funding sources and budgetary positions. Perform analytics to ensure payroll and other expenditure data reconcile with budgets; in particular, emphasis will be placed on reconciliation between the state, foundation, and sponsored budgets. Ensures budget forecasts are supported with a variety of data and provides the most up-to-date analysis to ensure goals are met for successful financial planning. Assist Financial Manager with other assigned duties

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with three years of related experience or a combination of education and related experience.
