Financial Specialist
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Entry Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience performing human resources related functions OR High school diploma or GED AND One year of post-secondary education at an accredited college or university.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform paraprofessional accounting and fiscal control functions for the travel function and other finance functions.
- Prepare and enter vouchers for payment in the TeamWorks system.
- Monitor budget expenditures pertaining to accounts payable and notify supervisors if expenditures exceed budget amounts.
- Process a high volume of direct billing for employee lodging through Concur.
- Communicates with travel stakeholders (such as hotel vendors) regarding employee reservations, invoices, renewal, and direct bill contracts, etc.
- Reconcile direct bill and related travel expenses.
- Resolves invoice rejections relating to PO discrepancies, invalid account segments and other accounting errors.
- Reviews, codes, and posts transactions
- Verifies and corrects accounting financial information.
- Maintains records, files and documentation related to accounting processes.
- Balances and reconciles accounting records, statements, journals, ledgers, or reports.
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Compiles and maintains records and files.
- May analyze financial reports to assess compliance.
