Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team at a busy airport location. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team that ensures travelers receive quality service and delicious meals promptly. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to passengers and customers
  • Assist with food preparation, including assembling orders and maintaining cleanliness in the food service area
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Handle food items carefully, adhering to proper food handling procedures
  • Support catering and banquet setups as needed for special events
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Follow all health regulations and company policies to ensure a safe environment
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and checking expiration dates
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in fine dining, restaurant, or food industry settings preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Experience serving in high-volume or airport environments is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Banquet or catering experience is a plus
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment
  • Hospitality background or dietary aide experience is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
