Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to business units as needed.
• Serve as liaison between units and IT; determines the nature of division’s business needs and provides appropriate information and assistance. Refer to appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Responsible for setting up hardware and ensuring said hardware is connected to the network.
• Issued devices such as company desktops, laptops, and tablets.
• Performs initial diagnosis of issues and execute a strategy to fix the issues.
• Prioritize issues based on severity and immediacy and must escalate to IT or Help Desk.
• Maintain computing asset inventory.
Skills and Qualifications:
• 3+ years of work experience minimum
• A+ Certification a plus
• Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
• Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
• Strong customer service skills
• Prior experience with desk side support
• Microsoft Windows certification is a plus
• Must have clean criminal record with the ability to pass fingerprint background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
