Job Description

Rome Georgia Janitor Needed

Areas to be Cleaned
  1. Admin Building, Production Planning Offices, ICS Labs, Maintenance Offices, Shipping and Receiving Offices, Guard Shack                   
  • All tile floors swept and damp mopped - Completed before 8:00am or after 5:00pm in Admin Building                    
  • Carpeted floors and mats vacuumed, using vacuum cleaner with/without bags                    
  • Clean door glass 1X per week (Admin Building and Production Hallway)                      
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners daily; clean outside of trash cans as needed                
  • Buff vinyl floors in Admin Building and production hallway 2X per month                    
  • Remove cobwebs inside cleaning area as needed
 
  1. All Breakrooms
  • Clean and sanitize table tops and countertops with approved germicidal cleaner daily    
  • Clean front and back of chairs daily                      
  • Clean face of cabinets daily                        
  • Empty trash cans and replace liners daily (clean inside and outside of trash cans as needed)                       
  • Clean, refill, and sanitize the soap and paper towel dispensers                         
  • Sweep and wet mop the floors daily                      
  • Clean inside and outside of the microwaves daily                       
  • Clean outside and top of the refrigerators daily (check for trash behind refrigerators daily)
 
  1. Restrooms, Locker Rooms, Showers
  • Clean and disinfect commode base, back of commodes, urinals, washbasins and mirrors       
  • Admin Building 1X per day; Plant 2X per day (beginning and end of shift)                     
  • Refill paper towel, soap, and tissue dispensers daily                 
  • Clean and disinfect sanitary napkin receptacles daily                              
  • Sweep and wet mop bathroom floors daily                       
  • Empty all trash containers and replace liners daily; clean as needed                             
  • Clean partitions daily (all sides/edges)                
  • Remove spots, stains, and splashes from wall areas near washbasins and other fixtures daily                       
  • Spot clean wall surfaces and doors daily (remove graffiti daily)                          
  • Machine scrub the tile and grout of restroom floors 1X per month                   
  • Machine scrub the tile and grout of shower floors 1X per week
