Job Summary:
Under supervision, the candidate learns to provide investigative and comprehensive case management for a caseload involving child/adult abuse or neglect.

Under supervision, the candidate learns to provide investigative and comprehensive case management for a caseload involving child/adult abuse or neglect.
Primary Duties $ Responsibilities:
- Accesses and records client and community resource information
- Assists in collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing necessary reports according to the rules/regulations and federal/state laws
- Assists in identifying placement resources for children within the foster care system
- Compiles records and prepares reports
- Follows-up to determine the status of client s case
- Coordinates and monitors children in out-of-home placements and in-home interventions
- Learns to perform initial investigations of protective services referrals in determining the appropriateness of protective services intervention
- Learns to work in collaboration with legal systems to ensure safety and achieve desired outcomes
- Maintains required documentation and completes reports
Entry Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university
