Job Description
UI Claims Examiner Associate
Job duties:
1. Review unemployment insurance claims for overpayments
2. Process Employer Wage Audit Notices
3. Conduct fact-finding procedures on an overpayment to determine whether the overpayment was due to fraud
4. Review New Hire information received
5. Identify any issue(s) and determine the correct department(s) to address the issue(s) via telephone or email
6. Perform daily clerical and follow-up tasks in support of overpayment/fraud investigation activities
7. Assist with the processing of regular interstate and partial claims.
8. Review employer charge protests
9. Assist with worklist queues
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate' s degree from an accredited college or university
OR
High school diploma
OR
GED AND Three years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
One year experience performing duties related to determining program eligibility
